Monday, August 14, 2017
Day 1 BRUSSELS
Arrival in Brussels – All participants are required to arrange their arrival by 09.00 a.m. on the 14th August 2017. They can plan their bookings to arrive Brussels before this. If they are coming on the 13th August or earlier and wish to stay in the same hotel, they have to inform in advance. Cost to be borne by the individuals.
10.00 a.m.: Briefing session at the hotel for all pilgrims
Coach at disposal of CCI – Guided tour of Brussels
Lunch: to be arranged with local organisations/individuals
Evening: 50th anniversary Memorial Mass at Church of Our Lady of Laeken, Laeken, Brussels followed by an informal gathering with friends, Cardijn organisations and others

Day 2 BRUSSELS

Full Day Coach at disposal for our own program
Lunch will be arranged in partnership with local friends/organisations
Forenoon: visit to Leuven, Cardijn House and other places of interest;
Afternoon/evening: Program will be informed; evening at Grand Place

Day 3 BRUSSELS – CHARLEROI – HALLE - LILLE

Forenoon: Visit to Charleroi; Halle, Cardijn’s birth place: Cardijn walk; Review of life session
Lunch: to be arranged with local hosts
Other programs will be announced after fixing up with local hosts

Day 4 LILLE - PARIS

Transfer to Paris – immediately after breakfast

Day 5 PARIS - LOURDES

If possible: Immediately after early breakfast Guided Tour of Paris (Final program will be informed) or depending on the duration of trip to Lourdes, to decide on departure from Paris.
At 09,00 am: Departure to Lourdes
Arrival in Lourdes before 8:30 PM

Candle light Procession(Candle light procession at 9 p.m. daily)

Guided walking Tour of Venice: St Marc Square, Rialto Bridge, Sights Bridge, Doge Palace, Glass Blowing Demonstration
Return Ferry to Mainland

Day 12 ROME – LAST DAY
Breakfast at the Hotel in Rome
International Symposium on ‘Cardijn 1967-2017:Cry of the Poor & Cry of the Earth’ – commemoration of the 60th anniversary of IYCW Rome Pilgrimage in which 30,000 young people from around the world participated along with Pope Pius XII and Cardijn
Lunch: Each participant to pay – to be arranged with the local hosts
After Symposium: Holy Mass
Afternoon: Evaluation of the pilgrimage at the hotel; conclusion of the pilgrimage
04.00 p.m. onwards: Departure – transfer to airport
NOTE: Those wishing to return home or go to other places from Rome may please make bookings for flights departing after 20.00 hrs (08.00 p.m.) on 25th August 2017. Those wishing to stay on the night of 25th August 2017 in the same hotel will have to pay on their own but must inform early.
